GAP REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION

The Southeast Anatolia Project Regional Development Administration (GAPRDA) entrusted with the task of rapid development of regions under the Southeast Anatolia Project, performing or having performed designs,infrastructure, housing, industry, mining, agriculture, transportation and other services in order to realize investments, taking or having taken measures required to improve the level of education of regional communities and ensuring coordination between agencies and institutions concerned was established pursuant to the Decree-Law No. 388 promulgated in the Official Gazette No. 20334 dated 6 November 1989. The GAP Higher Board is the highest decision-making body of the organization which is responsible for examining and adopting decisions with regard to all types of plans,designs and programmes. The GAP Higher Board is headed by the Minister of State in charge of the GAP, the Minister of State responsible for the State Planning Organization and the Minister of Public Works and Reconstruction
